Jenny Reeves

Faculty

Jenny Reeves

Upper School Art Teacher

Jenny Reeves is an artist and educator who has lived in the Bay Area since the mid 90’s. She earned a B.A. in visual arts with an emphasis in sculpture from San Francisco State University. She has a long and wonderful history with the Black Pine Circle School community dating back to 1999, when she first worked in the aftercare program at the age of 23! More recently she spent eight years in the upper school art studio, and is excited to return. In her personal time she enjoys long road trips, taking art classes, reading novels, swimming in warm water, dancing (mostly in her living room), and spending time with her family. She is the mom of two lively BPC alums.

A Favorite Book

Run by Ann Patchett. I love that when you describe an Ann Patchett book it sounds outrageous and unlikely, but when you’re reading it, it’s real and completely possible.
