Upper School Spanish Teacher
This position will join our upper school Spanish department in teaching and developing the Spanish program in our upper school. Faculty also fulfill supervisory lunch/recess duties, serve as advisors to students, oversee community service activities, participate in orientations, school events, and faculty meetings. Upper School Art Teacher
The upper school art teacher will be responsible for all aspects of the art curriculum for grades 6, 7, & 8, parent communication, grade reports, and other duties associated with the daily education of the upper school students. All BPC faculty are responsible for implementing best practices in education, with good humor, an unwavering commitment to children, and compassion. Black Pine Circle School assistant teachers work under the supervision of the division head/upper school leadership team. This position is responsible for supporting teachers to help facilitate learning for students. Black Pine Circle School assistant teachers work under the supervision of the division head/upper school leadership team. Upper School History Teacher
The sixth grade history teacher will collaborate with Black Pine Circle’s history department and sixth grade teaching team, planning lessons that challenge students to research, discuss, and analyze historical events from various perspectives. Responsibilities will include teaching twelve periods of history each week, as well as teaching one elective class, and being a student advisor. Lower School (K-5) Assistant Teacher
Assistant teachers report to the assistant teacher coordinator and K–5 division head and will work in close collaboration with their head teacher. This is a full-time teaching position (approximately 40 hours/week) for approximately 44 weeks of the school year. The assistant teacher is responsible for providing support to the head teacher in assisting students both academically and socially. This employee will need to be prepared to teach both on campus and remotely, depending on county and state directives.
