Second Grade Assistant Teacher
Elizabeth Rivera Guzman grew up in the Bay Area and is a graduate of Los Medanos College in Pittsburg, California where she received her AA in liberal arts: behavioral science and social science, AST for early childhood education, and a Certificate in Child Development. Elizabeth wishes to continue her educational path toward a B.S. in early childhood education. She has been working with children since 2018, beginning with various after-school programs. She joined the BPC faculty in 2022, spending three years as the kindergarten assistant teacher. She is excited to move into the role of second grade assistant teacher this school year. In her personal time, Elizabeth enjoys walking around her neighborhood in Oakland, watching movies, and going to zumba classes. She also loves attending concerts and the satisfaction of completing a puzzle.
Why I Work with Children
