Grace earned her B.A. in sociology from Occidental College and her child development associate teacher certificate from Merritt College. She has worked and played alongside children and young adults her entire life. Grace served as an Americorps Playworks coach for two years at Wilson Elementary School in Richmond then worked with transitional-age youth (16-24 year-olds) at the non-profit New Door Ventures in SF and Oakland for several years. She returned to the classroom in 2019 as an assistant teacher at The Berkeley School early childhood campus and most recently taught at Montessori Family School’s early childhood campus.
