Business FAQ

Are there any plans to make up lost school days?

BPC is in session utilizing a distance learning model. Because the COVID-19 situation is changing every day, we are continuing to analyze our options in relation to on-campus days. You will be informed of any calendar changes as soon as possible, should they occur.

What if my family needs extra support with tuition at this time?

BPC continues to be in session, with staff and faculty fully engaged in providing a rich and meaningful distance learning program for every student. Tuition revenue makes this possible. As such, we will not be offering tuition refunds. However, we are sensitive to the reality that current events are resulting in changing economic circumstances for many. If you need assistance, we are here to discuss your needs and what we can do to help. Our goal as always is to support the vibrancy of our community. For more information, please contact our Director of Finance and Operations, Bill Shea at bshea@blackpinecircle.org.

Will fees for after-school clubs and extracurriculars such as band or sports be refunded?

Refunds for extracurricular activities not provided (after-school clubs, band, orchestra, chorus, and upper school volleyball) will be prorated for the remainder of the semester. Additional information on calculating and processing refunds will be forthcoming from the Business Office.

For questions, please contact Director of Finance & Operations Bill Shea at bshea@blackpinecircle.org or Senior Bookkeeper Melinda Morris at mmorris@blackpinecircle.org.

Will fees for the Nourish You lunch program be refunded?

Nourish You will be sending out an email to all subscribers, providing them with the choice of a prorated refund or offering them the opportunity to donate their remaining subscription to feed the under served. If you would like to support Joan Gallagher and her efforts to feed the needy during this time, a GoFundMe page has been set up for that purpose.
