Sam Cantrell

Sam Cantrell has worked in the educational space for close to a decade. Born and raised in Berkeley, he has been committed to giving back to the community that helped him grow up. Previously the Director of Camp Kee Tov, Sam has also run the afterschool and camp programs at the JCC of the East Bay as well as the afterschool program at Claremont Middle School in Oakland. He has also taught English in Japan and Mexico. While not on the yard at BPC, you can find Sam playing soccer at the Gilman fields, or cozying up with his cat Katsu. He is delighted to be joining Black Pine Circle this year.
