Nat Lewis

Sixth Grade Math Teacher, Math Club / Math Team Coach

Nat Lewis grew up in Davis, California and attended UC Santa Cruz, where he graduated with a B.A. in environmental studies. He began teaching mathematics in 1998, at public high schools in Vallejo and Berkeley until 2011, and then moved to independent middle schools on the Peninsula and in the East Bay. He became National-Board Certified in mathematics in 2006. Nat taught at Prospect Sierra from 2019 to 2026. On Sundays, Nat plays bluegrass music and sings in his church’s choir, and during summers he is the music director for a summer camp. He loves to bicycle everywhere. Nat is delighted to be joining the BPC community this year.
