The Role of Family Circle

Family Circle, our parent and caregiver association, offers volunteer opportunities year-round to strengthen the school and community. Families can choose their level of involvement–from small classroom tasks to planning activities and taking on leadership roles.

Every contribution supports the school’s mission, builds connections across campuses, and helps BPC thrive as a welcoming, engaged community.

Building Community Bonds

Volunteering not only supports BPC’s daily operations, it also creates a deeper sense of belonging for families. By giving their time and talents, whether helping at school events, serving on the board, or joining field trips, parents and caregivers play an essential role in strengthening relationships, fostering engagement, and enriching the life of our entire community.

These shared experiences connect families across grades and help sustain the vibrant culture that makes BPC unique.

Concerts

All students, K–8, perform at our musical concerts which highlight their growth as individual musicians and as ensemble members. Concerts include the Upper and Lower School Winter Concerts, the K–8 Spring Concert, as well as the All-Bands Concert.

Theatrical Performances

Lower school parents are invited to attend grade-level Performances of Understanding that showcase student learning. In middle school, students participate in three years of drama classes, culminating in a full-class theatrical production in eighth grade – a highlight of the year that brings their skills and creativity to the stage.

Grandparents, relatives, and special family friends are invited to share a special day at our school, enjoying classroom activities with their host students and exploring the Annual K–8 Art Exhibit and 8th Grade Masterworks Projects.

Games Day

An end-of-year day of fun field games for all students at a local park, run by our P.E. coaches and teachers with help from energetic parent volunteers.
