Ava Donleavy

Ava Donleavy is delighted to be back at BPC as an extended day program teacher. A proud alumna, she attended kindergarten through eighth at BPC and graduated in 2017. She later attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated from the honors program with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, with an emphasis on ethics and public policy, as well as a minor in professional writing for civic engagement. During her studies, she was a published co-author for the Undergraduate Research Conference Proceedings. Beyond her academic achievements, Ava was also a Division 1 women’s water polo goalie. For the past three summers, she has served as the Aquatics Coordinator at the UC Berkeley Youth Recreation’s Blue Camp. In her personal time, Ava enjoys reading, watching ice hockey, and spending time with her dog, Bucky. She is excited to bring her passion for learning and joy to the BPC community.
