Ana Sellers
First Grade Assistant Teacher
Ana Sellers was born and raised in Berkeley, California. She holds an associate’s degree in general education with a focus on arts and design. Her journey working with children began in 2016 as a group leader, and over the years, she expanded her role to become an applied behavior analyst. Her first professional role was as an artist at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Ana aspires to become an art therapist, using creativity to support children—especially those with autism and special needs. She believes that empathy and understanding are among the most powerful tools in teaching and strives to bring joy and connection to every child she works with. Outside of the classroom, Ana enjoys listening to K-pop, meditating at the beach, and spending time with her cat, Yuuli. Now in her third year at BPC, she is excited to transition from third grade to first grade as an assistant teacher. She looks forward to continuing to build strong, meaningful relationships within the BPC community in the coming year.
Why I Work with Children
I’m a big kid myself! I love to be silly, play games, and show kids creative and exciting ways to learn and navigate the world around them.
A Favorite Book
Alice in Wonderland. I love that Alice has to embrace a world that doesn’t make sense and see the beauty in it.
Quick Fact
