Sandy Brumbaum
Fifth Grade Head Teacher
Sandy Brumbaum has been an educator for over 30 years, consulting and teaching in independent, public, and charter schools, as well as graduate classes at SF State and Mills College. With a credential and M.A. in education from UC Berkeley, Sandy has held a variety of roles in schools and districts around the Bay Area: classroom teacher (grades 1-5), intervention specialist, literacy coach, and curriculum writer. Having lived abroad for 16 years, Sandy loves to travel. Closer to home, she enjoys hiking with her dog and her friends, quilting, knitting, reading and talking about books. Sandy is currently learning how to keep plants alive!

Children are my teachers. I learn as much from them (if not more) as they do from me.
