Tony Wicks

Tony Wicks is a managing director with Sovereign Consulting Services, a boutique firm that specializes in helping organizations navigate their digital transformation journey. Through a combination of business strategy and information technology service offerings, Sovereign develops customized solutions tailored to the unique needs of each client. Tony has over 20 years of experience advising life sciences, health insurance, and healthcare provider organizations with an emphasis on product commercialization and organizational transformation. Prior to joining Sovereign, Tony served in leadership roles with several healthcare consulting firms including Gray Matter Analytics and IMS Consulting Group. He is also an entrepreneur who co-founded and operated Premier Source, a patient/provider support services organization, for seven years prior to its acquisition by AmerisourceBergen.

Tony earned his MBA from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business and his B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He lives in Oakland with his wife Carla, a physician with The Permanente Medical Group, three children (one currently at Black Pine Circle) and two dogs. In his spare time, Tony enjoys traveling, playing golf, and coaching youth sports.
