Board Member and Advisor to Life Sciences Companies
Shalini Sharp is a board member and advisor to multiple life sciences companies. She is a member of the board of directors of Organon & Co., Mirati Therapeutics, Neurocrine Biosciences, Sutro Biopharma, and Precision Biosciences, all publicly traded life sciences companies. She is also a member of the board of the TB Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and distribution of treatments for tuberculosis in the developing world. Previously, she was EVP and CFO of Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc., a publicly traded biotechnology company committed to bringing to market novel products for the treatment of rare genetic diseases primarily affecting pediatric patients. Prior to that, she was CFO and board member of Agenus, a cancer immunology biotechnology company, held various roles at Elan Corporation plc, an Irish company working on neurological diseases, and was also a management consultant at McKinsey & Company as well as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, specializing in life sciences. She also previously served as a board member of Panacea Acquisition Corporation and Array Biopharma. Ms. Sharp has both a B.A. and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. She has two children who currently attend Black Pine Circle School.
