Michael Stokes has been an educator for over 15 years and is excited to be in his third year at Black Pine Circle. Originally from Massachusetts, Michael completed his undergraduate studies at Hamilton College, earning a B.A. with a dual major in government and history and a minor in mathematics. He then pursued his graduate studies at Seton Hall University, where he earned an M.A. in history. Michael began his journey in education teaching fifth/sixth grade math in Brooklyn before deciding to move across the country to California. Since then, he has taught various subjects including fourth grade, middle school math, and STEM. In 2019, he became the learning support coordinator for the School of the Madeleine where he facilitated the growth and success of all students by supporting both struggling and exceptional learners. In his personal time, Michael used to enjoy a lot of things in his personal time but now spends all of that time with his adorable baby girl.
