Lower School Office Manager
Lucy Morris has enjoyed being part of the Black Pine Circle School community since her arrival in 2000. She grew up in New Hampshire and has a B.A. in English, with a minor in dance from the University of New Hampshire, as well as a year of study at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. While living in Boston she established a private practice in Shiatsu after becoming certified through the New England Shiatsu Center. Her interest in healing and movement led her to study African dance and percussion and improvisational movement, as well as various martial arts, including tai chi and chi gung. She passes on her love of music, playing guitar and writing songs, by teaching guitar to young students. Her love of healing through play is expressed by bringing out one of her many office puppets, as needed, to exchange insights with her younger office visitors.
Why I Work with Children
I love being around children’s sense of wonder and play.
