Lower School Office Manager
Lucy Morris enjoys being part of the Black Pine Circle School community which she joined in 2000. Ms. Morris grew up in New Hampshire and has a B.A. in English, with a minor in dance, from the University of New Hampshire, as well as a year of study at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. She moved to Boston in her early 20s to pursue her interest in movement and healing, establishing a private practice in shiatsu after becoming certified through the New England Shiatsu Center. She also studied African dance and percussion, improvisational movement, and various martial arts, including tai chi and chi gung. Ms. Morris moved to California in 1993 and continues practicing tai chi and chi gung, as well as songwriting and playing guitar. She passes on her love of music by teaching guitar to young students and, her love of play by bringing out one of the many office puppets, as needed, to exchange insights with her younger office visitors.
Why I Work with Children
