Andra Marziano

Prior to stepping into her role as interim head of upper school this year, Andra was our dean of upper school students from 2014 to 2024 and our assistant head of upper school from 2020 to 2024. She began her tenure at Black Pine Circle School in 1994 as the Extended Day director and the after-school drama teacher for second through fifth grades before becoming head of the upper school drama program in 1999, a role she continued through 2024. She received her B.A. in political science from UC Berkeley and, while attending the university, she worked with several youth theater organizations for children ages 5-17. She is a nationally certified personal trainer, and has worked at UC Berkeley with intercollegiate athletic teams as well as individual clients.
