I Say, “NaNo,” You Say, “WriMo”!
Last night, 60 4th-8th graders novelers gathered in the theater for BPC’s 10th Annual NaNoWriMo Keep on Noveling Party to write their hearts out! They were joined by special guest, children’s & YA author, Maggie Tokuda-Hall. The kids ate pizza, drank hot cider, and competed in word sprints. Collectively, they wrote more than 25,000 words on their way to completing their novels by the end of November. Go novelers!
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a month-long writing challenge that takes place in November of each year. In 2018, over 100,000 young writers and educators in over 9,000 classrooms took on the NaNoWriMo challenge.
