Vivek Shah

Vivek Shah is the founder and CEO of SimplyInsured, an online health insurance platform serving small businesses and their employees nationwide. The company is backed by Polaris Partners, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Y Combinator. Prior to SimplyInsured, Vivek led sales and retail operations at Cardpool, which was acquired by Blackhawk Network, and worked as a venture investor at Globespan Capital Partners and as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. Over the past 25 years, he has founded and operated companies in healthcare, e-commerce, gaming, and food delivery. Vivek has extensive experience building and scaling organizations, leading teams, fundraising, strategic planning, and navigating periods of growth and change. He received bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Management Science from MIT.
