Lesley Jones
Director of Communications
Lesley Jones comes to us from England with a B.A. in English language and literature and a secondary education teaching credential in English. She spent several years teaching English, drama, and communication studies to middle and high school students in Bristol, U.K. Lesley worked in the East Bay for 10 years in the alternative weekly newspaper industry in sales, marketing, and management, becoming publisher of the East Bay Express in 2001, and then general manager of Marin’s Pacific Sun newspaper in 2002. Lesley joined Black Pine Circle School in 2008 and worked for five years as the fourth and fifth grade assistant teacher prior to her current position. Her daughter, a K-8 Black Pine Circle School graduate, is beginning her master’s program this fall.
