Evan Jackson

Evan has worked in public, independent, and charter schools as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Originally from Philadelphia, he moved to the Bay Area to teach special education in OUSD, then made the transition to independent schools as a teacher and administrator, working for six years at Cathedral School for Boys in San Francisco. As his family grew, they returned to the East Coast, where Evan became the director of technology at AIM Academy, an independent first–twelfth grade school that serves students with language-based learning differences. Upon coming back to the Bay Area in 2020, Evan became the associate director of technology for KIPP Public Schools – a charter school organization that runs over 18 schools in and around the Bay Area – before coming to BPC in 2022. When not working, Evan can be found going for walks on hidden paths, playing board games and role playing games with his kids, or playing with a new gadget.
