BPC’s 2nd Annual Paci Seeds of Change Day, in honor of long-time board member and benefactor Mary Paci for her extraordinary support of our school, took place on April 9. Mary Paci has inspired many in our community to embrace making a genuine difference at home, at school, and in their immediate communities.

All of our students, K–8, engaged in meaningful community service both on and off campus, including shoreline cleanup, invasive plant removal at the nearby Strawberry Creek with Friends of Five Creeks, packing food at the Alameda County Community Food Bank, serving lunch to the homeless at Glide Memorial Church, and visiting with residents at Chaparral House and adults at Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay’s day program.
