Francisco Garcia-Vanegas
Upper School Spanish Assistant
Francisco Garcia-Vanegas was born and raised in the Bay Area and attended Berkeley public schools from k-12. He obtained his B.A. in linguistics and Spanish from UC Davis. He began assisting in Senora Lacey’s Spanish summer sessions in the summer of 2013 and has been assisting her from time to time since then. He has worked as a translator, a bookseller, a literacy coach for k-2nd graders, and in development/fundraising for nonprofits. Senor Garcia-Vanegas enjoys running, swimming, and used book shopping.
