Sandra Williams-Hamp

ED of Outreach and Educational Partnerships, University of California Office of the President

Sandra Williams Hamp is the executive director of Outreach and Educational Partnerships for the University of California Office of the President. She provides leadership and oversight for key strategic partnerships that advance the university’s mission and commitment to excellence and equity. She leads UC’s K-14 portfolio of academic preparation programs that reach more than 200,000 students annually. Mrs. Hamp has over 27 years of experience in K-12 and higher education. She served as the former executive director of K-12 for the College Board Western Regional Office. The College Board is best known for the SAT®, AP®, and PSAT/NMSQT®. Mrs. Hamp was responsible for strategy and oversight of K-12 operations in the twelve western states. As a recognized leader in assessment and college readiness, she worked extensively with districts and state leaders to develop strategies to drive academic excellence and college opportunities. She is deeply committed to issues of access and diversity in higher education for all students. A native of Berkeley, she received her B.A. from UC Berkeley and M.S in Education. She resides in Pinole with her husband and son who is an alumni of Black Pine Circle School.
