In 2009, he graduated first in his class from the Laney College culinary arts program with degrees in culinary arts and restaurant management. Mr. McWilliams also obtained certifications in safety and sanitation, human resources, and nutrition. After graduating, he worked extensively in the high-class catering world of San Francisco and, since leaving that realm, has acted as personal chef and child care provider for multiple families. He is currently studying for a B.A. in education. This is his first year as Black Pine Circle School’s third grade assistant teacher, following a year as the second grade and five years as the kindergarten assistant teacher.
