IT Consultant, Department of Veterans Affairs
Nam Do is a senior IT consultant for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), providing business and IT strategy with respect to enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, enterprise strategy and planning, and cost reduction. She leads a team that analyzes business needs and develops technical solutions to improve veterans’ health care and benefits management. Prior to the VA, she provided IT services to the private sector, including managing quality assurance for Fannie Mae’s financial analytics platform and UBS Investment Bank’s global derivatives trading system, and developing software for Adobe Systems and Xerox. Ms. Do received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago and her B.S. in computer science from U.C. Irvine. She currently lives in Oakland with her husband, Marc Countryman, and their two children, one a current student and the other a graduate of Black Pine Circle School.
