IT Consultant, Department of Veterans Affairs, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
Nam Do is a senior IT consultant for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), providing business and IT strategy with respect to enterprise and solutions architecture, and enterprise strategy and planning. She leads a team that analyzes business needs and develops technical solutions to improve veterans’ health care, benefits management, and memorial services. Additionally, Ms. Do manages development of financial applications for the National Fisheries at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Previously, she managed quality assurance teams for Fannie Mae’s financial analytics platform and UBS Investment Bank’s global derivatives trading system, and developed software for Adobe Systems and Xerox. Ms. Do received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago and her B.S. from U.C. Irvine. She currently lives in Oakland with her husband, Marc Countryman, and their two children, one a current student and the other a graduate of Black Pine Circle School.
