Upper School Spanish Teacher
Josefina Jacquin is a sixth, seventh, and eighth grade Spanish teacher. Señora Jacquin has taught Spanish and has also been an advisor at Black Pine Circle School since 2008. Prior to working at BPC, she taught Spanish at Presidio Hill School in San Francisco for nine years and at Park Day School for a year. Señora Jacquin has also taught visual arts to students of all ages. A native of Colombia, she moved to Gainesville, Florida to attend the University of Florida. Later, she studied restoration at the Universita Internazionale dell’Arte in Florence, and lived in Italy for four years. Señora Jacquin completed her undergraduate work at San Francisco State University in fine arts. She obtained an M.F.A. in printmaking at the San Francisco Art Institute and is also an accomplished artist who has exhibited her work in California and abroad. Her favorite hobbies are traveling, watching movies, reading, and bargain shopping.
