Eric Pearson

Supervisor for Home Entertainment, Pixar Animation Studios

Eric Pearson is the supervisor for home entertainment at Pixar Animation Studios and the father of two children who graduated from Black Pine Circle School. At Pixar, he plays an operational and strategic planning role, helping the studio work with Disney Distribution to plan and deliver the finishing touches for all of the feature and short films and ensure the best quality product for home consumers around the world. Mr. Pearson graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and has a wide range of professional experiences from software development to film production to marketing strategy. Prior to working at Pixar, he was founder and product manager at Offermatica (now Adobe Test and Target), where he helped conceive, build, and launch a marketing and advertising optimization service now used by thousands of companies worldwide. Mr. Pearson also currently serves as the chair of the board of directors at BAYCAT, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching underserved youth and young adults how to tell their unique stories using digital media (video, animation, and music) and developing the skills they need to do it professionally.
