Ariel Helmann
Events and Advancement Assistant
Ariel Helmann is a Bay Area transplant, making the cross-country trip from NY multiple times. She graduated from SUNY Purchase with a B.A. in psychology, her thesis focusing on adolescent development. After moving to California in 2013, Ariel spent a service term with AmeriCorps developing an in-school and after-school tutoring program at the Napa Valley Language Academy. Following that, she began her role as a second grade assistant teacher at Prospect Sierra. After moving back to NY in 2019, she was appointed director of operations for the Finger Lakes Toy Library. Outside of work, she enjoys training her dog, playing soccer, and visiting coffee shops with her husband. Ariel is thrilled to join the Black Pine Circle School community this year.
A Favorite Book
My favorite book growing up was Ella Enchanted . I read it so many times that the cover fell off and I had to tape the pages together!
