Annie Bissell

Annie Bissell kept strong ties with the Black Pine Circle community after graduating from eighth grade in 2008. In 2016, she returned as the third grade assistant teacher and continued on as an after-care assistant the following year. Annie was involved in a variety of community-building volunteer positions while attending UC Santa Cruz. This year, she plans to take classes at a local community college in addition to working in BPC’s aftercare program. Annie values her time in the outdoors: swimming in the cold Pacific, jogging and hiking with her dogs, and riding around town on her old red bicycle.
